Closing of the 20th "Music and Word" Festival
A festive concert of spiritual music
The Konavle Art Association is bringing the final concert of its jubilee festival program. In cooperation with the Čilipi Cultural and Artistic Association, and on the occasion of the feast of the Assumption, on Thursday, August 13th 2026, starting at 9:00 PM, in the beautiful setting of the Church of St. Nicholas in Čilipi, a festive concert of spiritual music will be held, officially closing this year's, 20th "Music and Word" festival.
This special evening will bring together prominent names from the domestic spiritual and entertainment music scene, performing:
VIS Veritas aeterna – a Split vocal-instrumental ensemble known for its powerful and emotional multi-part performances under the leadership of academic musician and professor, Antonio Grkeš, Albina Grčić – a popular soloist with a unique voice, who will bring special warmth to the pre-holiday atmosphere with her performance, and the ADEO band – instrumental and vocal support in whose intimate, acoustic arrangements every note will gain a new dimension.
