Šapice by Slavko Sobin is a wonderful and instructive story about the importance of friendship, tolerance and acceptance of those who are different.

When one day, before Christmas, two dogs meet on the street - one small, stray, nobody's and happy with what it doesn't have, and one domestic, well-behaved, dissatisfied with what it has, it will be the beginning of a great friendship.
Friendship, tolerance and acceptance of different values are the meaning of life, or at least they should be. That's what little ones will be able to learn from this play, and adults will remember, if they have forgotten.
The play is intended for ages 3 to lower grades of elementary school.
